Webstock is new software that keeps lists of your stock, and at the click of a button creates web pages, uploads them to your site,
and lets you take orders online.
You can gather data from your EPOS system, and keep that website up to date!

Case Histories.
1. The Didgeridoo Place.
A customer who makes and sells Didgeridoos and other Aborigiana wanted a website with photos and other details of his
wide stock range which was for sale in his shop in Norfolk, UK.
We designed and contructed his site, and he emailed us whenever he sold a didgeridoo,
added a new one, wanted to change the price, put on a special offer, e.t.c.
We made the changes, and obviously charged him for it.
After a while, being charged for every minor change became impracticable and expensive, so we introduced him to DIYWebstock, and he has never looked back!
He now adds and edits his Didgeridoos, Artifacts, CD's, Books, Videos and all other stock he sells into his version of DIYWebStock, and sits back as it does the rest.
(He could have imported this data from his EPOS system, if he had one.)
It creates the HTML, connects to the internet (via FTP), uploads the pages, pictures & sounds to the website, and sorts out the online ordering.
He receives the orders by email, and posts the goods!
Such is the flexibility of DIYWebStock, that he has the control of
- Demonstration sound files
- Close up pictures
- Update page that shows any changes made
- Special offer pages
- Change of colours
- Testimonials
- News and Events
all at the click of a button. And with no technical knowledge.
And gone are the repeat fees for every change made.
2. www.buxton-norfolk.co.uk - Weather Pages
Although this Case History does not deal with Stock, we included it here to show that DIYWebStock can be modifed to suit any requirement when it comes to putting data onto the internet.
The village of Buxton in Norfolk has a weather observer, who collects meteorological information,
and passes it on to Those Who Collect It.
This is quite a chore to do manually. Also, the data was required to be put on the Buxton website.
So DIYWebstock was modified to do the job.
Again, the user enters the daily figures (or imports them from an automatic collecting station software)
and DIYWebStock creates the HTML and uploads it to the net.
It also creates graphs for wind, rain and temperature, and uploads these too.
Various statistics can be calculated, summarised and highlighted for highs and lows and averages. Scripts are included for temperature conversions if needed.
It gathers the figures, saves them as a CSV (tab delimited) file, and emails them off to the various weather agencies around the country.
Don't take our word for it. Go to
www.buxton-norfolk.co.uk and click on "Buxton´s Weather" in the main menu.
The weather main page and the daily data pages with their graphs are managed entirely by DIYWebStock.
