Please feel free to contact us if you need further explanation of the following.The ‘Website for £199’ offer consists of 2 pages of standard HTML coding, each page consisting of no more than one screen in size at a resolution of 1024x768, including up to 5 media items (pictures, animations, sounds or video). Additional pages or media can be added subject to the usual fees charged by FeedBack Software. Details here.
Domain names and Web Space expire after ONE year, and a renewal fee will be due to maintain the site and domain. The current renewal fee for Domain Names is £10.00 per year, and the fee for the webspace is £1.50 per Mb per year, due every anniversary of the creation of the site, but prices may have changed at the time the renewal fee becomes due. Webspace is rounded up to the nearest Mbyte. The HTML coding remains permanently on the site for no further charge providing that the site is kept active by payment of the renewal fee mentioned above. All HTML coding remains the property and copyright of FeedBack Software and it’s alteration and reuse by other parties is forbidden unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The Webspace is rented, and the Owner places his own pop up banners on your site, which is why we are able to offer such good value space. These banners can be removed for an additional fee of £30 per annum.
For technical reasons, any domain name registered by FeedBack Software for and on behalf of a customer is registered to and owned by FeedBack Software. Transfer of the domain at a later date incurs a fee, (currently £40.00, but this again may change) which includes the transfer fee payable to the authorities in charge of Domain Registration. FeedBack Software agrees to always release and transfer a fully paid up and active domain to the customer who ordered it upon demand. Once the transfer fee has been paid, and the registration changes have taken place, the Customer becomes entirely responsible for the upkeep, management and content of the site and domain name.
Should the Customer not pay the renewal fees by the renewal date, the Domain Name may lapse back into the public domain, being made available to the first comer. FeedBack Software reserve the right to pay for and maintain their ownership of this domain at their own expense for a period of time only terminated by their own decision to do so. The Customer agrees that no action will be taken against FeedBack Software to recover a domain which has lapsed, and that no action will be taken by the customer to recover any losses whether financial or otherwise. If the Customer wishes to claim ownership of a lapsed Domain Name still registered and owned by FeedBack Software, the Customer agrees to pay any amount set by FeedBack Software’s own discretion for the transfer to be completed and rights to the Domain Name to be ‘sold’ to the Customer.
Video and sound items: All must be complete and ready to go. All must be supplied electronically by email, or on floppy disk delivered to FeedBack Software at the customer's expense. Any creation/editing/scanning will be charged at the usual rate of £15 per hour.
Text Items: Any text must be supplied on disk or by email. Any manual typing of text, or text to scan in and OCR is charged at £15.00 per hour.
FeedBack Software reserve the right to refuse to upload any content which in FeedBack Software’s sole opinion is unsuitable for publication on the internet, or which is misleading on untruthful. The customer is responsible for the content of the site and it’s accuracy. The customer will indemnify FeedBack Software against any action taken against them regarding the content of the site. FeedBack Software reserve the right to place a link (complete with logo/graphic) on the customers site to FeedBack Software’s own site, and also reserve the right to place a link to the customer’s site on the FeedBack Software site.
FeedBack Software agrees to hold any information held in complete confidentiality, only releasing details when ordered to do so by an Officer of the Law, a Court, or any other party empowered with such rights.
Ordering a website under the ‘Web Sites for £199.00’ offer whether using the specific order form or not, signifies understanding, agreement and acceptance of the above terms and conditions.
