Software is being constantly updated and refined, with new features becoming available all the time. REMEMBER, if you do not want a feature, you do not have to have it. Why pay for something you will never use?
All our Dos based software has been tested to run on a low spec computer. See Minimum Hardware Specification for more details.
Our Windows based software is for Windows 95 & 98, ME and XP only, (Sorry Windows 3.x!) If your machine will run win 95,98, ME or XP, then our software will run just fine.
You decide what the software is to do, so the end result simply follows the way you have been working for years.
And if you don't need all of the currently available software, we chop that bit off, and start deducting money!
If you already have a machine, you can purchase just the software, with no expensive hardware upgrades.
E Commerce: Because of the need to personally visit our customers to gather as much information as possible, selling our software over the Internet is impractical. Therefore, we have no E Commerce functionality. However, we may consider providing a demo version for download if we get enough requests for it. Fill in our customer survey, and tell us if that is what you want.
Our software is designed for the non computer literate, requiring minimal training, with no hefty manual to plough through.
If you do not have a computer at present, we can give advice as to what you need. The Dos software does not need a top of the range machine to run on, (see Minimum Hardware Specification) and is very keenly priced - £500 is currently the maximum you would have to pay for the complete set up, including all of the software modules, Computer, Installation and a half day of training (optional). The Windows based software might need a slightly more advanced machine, adding a little to the cost.
The credit for all software created partially belongs to some of our customers, (See Acknowledgements) as it is they who tell us of any improvements or features that they would like.
For example, the Invoice Messaging feature enables you to add up to five lines of text to an invoice.
This originally came about because a garage running our invoicing software needed to place details of possible future faults of cars onto the invoice.
It evolved into a general purpose feature, and was added to the main core of the program.
The
Invoicing package software and the
Sales Accounts software are a tightly linked package - if you want invoicing, you must have Sales Accounts, but you can have just the Sales Accounts.
Also, this package is the starting point in building the software, and must be present. (Although if you have a specific need, then we can change to suit you.)
Each component has it's own page for ease of description.
The main part of the program has various settings which can be altered to change the method in which other parts of the program work.
Some of these are Display Settings, Invoice Message Defaults, Vat Standard and Other Rates, Registered User's Details, Data entry methods, Password Control and Backup Procedures.

All of our Windows software will run on any machine running Windows 95, 98, ME and XP.
All Dos software is tested on a very low specification machine, and runs fine. Obviously a faster machine would produce a faster running program, but existing customers are quite happy running the software on these low cost systems.
Minimum Specification:
486 SX 20Mhz computer (Not tested on a 386, but it should still work)
4 MB Ram.
250Mb hard drive.
Colour VGA Monitor (640x480 16 colours minimum).
Dos version 5 or later.
1.44 Mb floppy drive.
Mouse, keyboard and dot matrix (or better) printer (Optional).
The current cost for the above specification machine is £150.00, but prices are liable to change at short notice.
Please check at time of ordering. Specification may be better than that stated above, and includes all cables and leads.
Equipment is second user, and comes with a 3 month guarantee.
If you prefer, new items can be supplied, again, check prices at time of ordering.
